Announcement Trading for NON FX market (Part I)
Since I have been involved with Sam, these guys has been showed a lot of FX Announcement strategy. When I first saw it, it is good and easy. But Later I have found there are some drawbacks:
-Time zone different,
-Requirement of precise entry and exit
-Limited profit potential
The most profitable announcement trading strategy is really to trade the earnings.
My favourite is to trade the Google earning. This stock often gap anywhere between 20-25% of its share price on the earning days. Either directional can be very lucrative.
